Vision & Values

At St Saviour's, we recognise that 'the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever'.  It's our prayer that our times of corporate worship should facilitate and encourage every individual member across our congregations to live out holy lives of worship, as we celebrate the past week and seek inspiration for the week ahead.  Our desire is that we would be a community of Christ-centred worshipers who worship with freedom, passion, excitement, integrity, authenticity, honesty and sincerity.

We realise that worship is a matter of giving our lives as living sacrifices and as such encompasses all our activity.  We know that time given in praise and intimacy with God is time when we are being transformed into God's likeness.  We therefore aim to give priority privately and corporately to being before God and giving Him worship.

Sunday Services

Band

The musical worship at St. Saviour's ranges in style, combining fresh, new and self-written songs, alongside the rich and ancient heritage from worshippers down the ages.

There is a large team of gifted and dedicated musicians who give a great deal of their time to serve God through their musical abilities.  We occasionally have string, brass and vocal groups which all add extra variety and colour to our services.  Our all-age service, ENGAGE, features a WAYFs band, drama team and dance group Free:D.  At Christmas and Easter we get together an orchestra and choir for something a little special.

All these activities are ably supported by a team of Sound and visuals operators and sign-language interpreters, whose work is an essential part of our worship.

Get involved

The whole worship team at St Saviour's is continually growing and we're always looking for gifted musicians, and sound & vision operators to join the team.  The team is led, trained and co-ordinated by Tony Ryce-Kelly, Worship & Creative Arts Director.

If you're passionate about worshipping God and would love to grow in your giftings or to know more please get in touch.
