For Pre-School Children

At St Saviour's we are fortunate to  be able to offer two social groups for parents and carers of babies and children. They run every Thursday during term time from 10:00am 

Baby Group

Come and relax with other mums-to-be, parents and carers in a safe environment, and be cared for by our great staff of volunteers. This is a great place to meet others, to relax, chat, enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits whilst the babies play.

This group is for those with new babies and babies who are learning to walk, and offers a quiet and safe area with others of a similar age.

Toddler Group

A fun time for those with toddlers - from those with toddlers confidently toddling through to pre-school age children. It provides an opportunity to meet with other parents, carers and their children and to make new friendships. A wide range of toys is available in the main room including ride-on vehicles, playhouse, jigsaws, and much more. The back room has a quieter atmosphere with an organised craft activity each week, and includes a book corner. We also have a baby area for those with both toddlers and babies. Tea, coffee and cake are provided for adults, squash and biscuits for the children, and each session concludes with a Sing Song.

We ask for a contribution of £1 per family per week. There is no need to book - just come along and meet us

Support Group for Families with Special Needs

This group meets every 2^nd Tuesday of the month at 9:45am at the Church Centre and finishes around 11:30. It is for parents with young children who have all sorts of special needs, and aims to provide space to discuss and share ideas with each other, listen to what specialist professionals have to say, provide outings and make caring and supportive friendships for when the going gets tough.

A crèche is usually available, but please ring and let us know if you are bringing your child.

STUDY / FRIENDSHIP GROUP FOR MUMS WITH YOUNG BABIES /TODDLERS

Talktogether is a new group set up for mums with young babies / toddlers, meeting at a Church member's home in Bramley on a Monday afternoon at 3pm. It gives space in a busy life for friendship, mutual support and a chance to read the bible and listen to God. Children are looked after for part of the time to allow mums to focus on God.
