Tom Darwent, Associate Rector

Tom is Associate Rector of St Saviour's.  Prior to his arrival here, Tom was curate and Director of Discipleship at Holy Trinity Claygate. Tom trained at Wycliffe Hall and before that worked in political and social research in London and studied Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge.

Tom oversees midweek discipleship at St Saviour's, including Life groups, young adults groups and midweek courses.  He will also be involved in helping develop evangelism and student ministry and supporting the church's youth and children's ministry leadership.

Tom is passionate about preaching and teaching the bible in engaging and relevant ways and stimulating whole-life discipleship across the church.  He is also committed to equipping the church to witness to the wider community and to discerning and using their gifts more effectively.

In his spare time Tom enjoys football, walking, skiing and travelling, as well as history and current affairs.
