Jo Lewis-Barned, Student Worker

Jo is the Student Worker at St Saviours. After taking a year out after school to work for Busbridge Church, Godalming  with youth and children, she then went on to Leeds Uni to study English, worked in London in Marketing, and has most recently spent three years training for ministry at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. After 6 years at University she is well experienced at coffee drinking and making new friends.

Jo grew up in New Zealand and has a kiwi 'can do' attitude. She also has a real desire to welcome International Students and help them settle in. Jo has a heart for the international church, and after spending time in Continental Europe and East Africa would love to serve abroad one day. She often spends some of the summer at New Wine and has loved being part of all kinds of different teams there.

Jo enjoys travelling to new places, debating the important issues of life, spending time outdoors, camp fires, hot chocolate, and loves a good home cooked meal with friends.
