Electoral Roll
The Electoral Roll is the official membership list of St Saviour's as presented to the Diocese. If you are on the Electoral Roll, you are able to nominate, be nominated and vote for PCC and Deanery Synod membership. It is also a requirement should you wish to be married at St Saviour's.
To qualify for admission on the Electoral Roll, you will either need to be a member of the Church of England living in the parish, a member of the Church of England not living in the Parish but having worshipped habitually in the parish for the 6 months prior to enrolment, or be a member in good standing of a church, not in communion with the Church of England, which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and also declare yourself to be a member of the Church of England and having habitually attended public worship in the parish for the last 6 months.
Forms are available from the back of Church or from the Church reception during office hours; alternatively you can download
Electoral Roll Application Form
print it and send it to office, St Saviour's church, Woodbridge Road, Guildford, or leave it in the church office or pigeon hole.
Electoral Roll admissions are considered at each PCC meeting.
The current 2012 Electoral Roll revision is now closed. The final list can be viewed at the back of the church. This list is for those eligible to participate in this years APCM. New submission for the Electoral Roll can be taken, however you will not be eligible to participate in this years APCM proceedings.
This year the Church Family Evening (APCM) will be Wednesday 25th April from 7.15pm.
We also maintain a Family List which contains contact details of everyone who regularly attends St Saviour's and has given us permission to include their details in the Family List. It does not follow that if you are on the Electoral Roll you are also in the Family List, you need to fill in a Family List Form. Currently, once year we publish the Family List in a document available through the Church Office. Inclusion is by request and the amount of personal data published is your decision.
